Paid billingCore, Premium and Elite may be purchased on the quarterly or annual billing options displayed at checkout and automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off.

These Terms should be read with the Reality Fishing Privacy Policy, Privacy Collection Notice, Member Deals Terms & Conditions, the conditions displayed for specific Deals, and the separate terms and conditions for each giveaway or promotion.

1. About these Terms

These Membership Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern the creation and use of a Reality Fishing account and any Reality Club membership supplied by Reality Fishing Pty Ltd (ACN 696 402 963; ABN 83 696 402 963), trading as Reality Fishing (Reality Fishing, we, us or our).

They apply to Free and paid memberships and form part of the agreement between Reality Fishing and the person registered as the member (you or Member).

Your membership agreement also includes the plan description, price, billing period and material conditions displayed to you before you join or purchase, together with any confirmation issued after registration or payment. Where a specific benefit has separate terms, those terms apply to that benefit.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified.

2. Definitions

  • Account means the Reality Fishing account registered to a Member.
  • Auto-Renewal means the recurring billing feature under which a paid membership renews for the selected billing period unless renewal is turned off before the next charge is processed.
  • Free Membership means the no-cost Reality Fishing membership tier.
  • Member means the individual who holds the Account and membership.
  • Member Deal means a Partner Discount, Exclusive Deal or other benefit made available through the Reality Fishing deals platform.
  • Paid Membership means a Core, Premium or Elite membership, or another paid tier expressly offered by Reality Fishing.
  • Plan Summary means the membership information displayed before joining or paying, including price, billing period and key benefits.
  • Platform means realityfishing.com.au, the Reality Fishing membership system and dashboard, and any future Reality Fishing-controlled app, portal or digital membership service.
  • Promotion means a giveaway, trade promotion, competition or other prize-based promotion conducted or made available through Reality Fishing.
  • Specific Promotion Terms means the separate terms and conditions applying to a particular Promotion.

3. Agreement and acceptance

You accept these Terms when you create an Account, purchase a Paid Membership, renew a Paid Membership, or otherwise continue to use a membership after being given reasonable notice that these Terms apply.

If you purchase or manage a membership for another person, you must be authorised to do so. The membership itself belongs to the named Member and cannot be sold or transferred unless Reality Fishing expressly agrees.

If there is an inconsistency between these Terms and a Specific Promotion Term or specific Deal condition, the more specific term governs the relevant Promotion or Deal. These Terms continue to govern the underlying membership.

4. Membership eligibility and members under 18

Reality Fishing memberships may be made available to people under 18. A Member under 18 may only use features, benefits, products, services or Promotions for which they satisfy the applicable age and legal requirements.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to create an Account where that permission is required. A paid purchase must be made using a payment method that the payer is legally entitled to use. Reality Fishing may request reasonable evidence of authority or parental or guardian approval where reasonably necessary.

A membership does not override age restrictions applying to a giveaway, alcohol, travel, training, vessel activity, licence, regulated product or any Partner service. A Member who is not eligible for a particular benefit cannot use the membership to avoid that restriction.

5. Account registration and security

You must provide information that is accurate and reasonably complete and keep material Account information current. This may include your name, date of birth, address, postcode, email address and telephone number.

Membership is personal to the named Member. Unless a specific benefit permits it, you must not share Account credentials, allow another person to impersonate you, sell membership access, create duplicate Accounts to obtain additional benefits, or use another person’s Account without authority.

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your password and Account. Notify Reality Fishing promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

6. Membership plans

Reality Fishing currently offers Free, Core, Premium and Elite memberships. Different plans may provide different benefits, access levels, Deal eligibility, giveaway allocations or other membership features.

The Plan Summary displayed before registration or payment forms part of your membership agreement. Benefits that are described as coming soon, proposed or subject to a future launch are not treated as currently available benefits unless the Plan Summary clearly states otherwise.

A membership is a bundle of membership services and benefits. Purchasing a Paid Membership does not amount to purchasing a prize or a guaranteed chance of obtaining any particular commercial outcome.

7. Current membership prices

As at 1 October 2026, the ordinary advertised membership prices are:

PlanQuarterly billingAnnual billing
Free$0$0
Core$59.99 every 3 months$179 per year
Premium$79.99 every 3 months$239 per year
Elite$119.99 every 3 months$359 per year

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Promotional or discounted first-period pricing may be offered from time to time. Where a discounted first period renews at a different ordinary price, the renewal basis must be disclosed before purchase.

If a monthly equivalent is shown for comparison, it does not mean that the plan is billed monthly unless monthly billing is expressly offered at checkout.

8. Free membership

A Free Membership does not require a recurring membership payment. It provides access only to the benefits identified for Free Members from time to time, subject to any specific conditions attached to those benefits.

If a Paid Membership expires and no other Paid Membership remains active, the Account will ordinarily revert to the Free Membership rather than being automatically deleted.

Returning to the Free tier after a Paid Membership ends does not recreate any one-time joining benefit that has already been received.

9. Paid memberships

Core, Premium and Elite memberships are prepaid for the billing period selected at checkout. Once payment is successfully processed, the relevant paid period begins and the applicable membership becomes active subject to these Terms.

Payment for a Paid Membership gives you access to the applicable benefits for the paid period. Turning off Auto-Renewal does not cancel or shorten a period that has already been paid for.

You must be authorised to use the payment method supplied. Reality Fishing may use a third-party payment provider to process membership payments and receives payment status and transaction information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Automatic renewal

Paid Memberships automatically renew for the same selected billing period unless Auto-Renewal is turned off before the next renewal payment is processed, or the membership otherwise ends in accordance with these Terms.

By selecting a Paid Membership with Auto-Renewal, you authorise Reality Fishing and its payment provider to charge the disclosed membership price for each renewal period using the payment method associated with the subscription, subject to any lawful price change notified before renewal.

Any renewal information, reminder or notice required by applicable law will be provided in the manner required by that law. A price change does not alter the price already paid for the current prepaid period.

11. Turning off auto-renewal

You can turn off Auto-Renewal through the membership Account page. Turning off Auto-Renewal stops future recurring charges for that subscription but does not cancel the current prepaid membership period.

After Auto-Renewal is turned off, you continue to receive the applicable paid membership benefits until the end of the paid period. At expiry, the Account will revert to the Free Membership unless another Paid Membership remains active.

Turning off Auto-Renewal is different from deleting your Account. You do not need to delete your Account to stop future membership renewal charges.

12. Failed payments and payment disputes

If a renewal payment fails, Reality Fishing may retry the payment where permitted by the payment arrangement, notify you, suspend the attempted renewal, or allow the Paid Membership to expire. We will not impose an undisclosed penalty merely because a payment fails.

If a payment is reversed, refunded, charged back or found to be unauthorised or fraudulent, Reality Fishing may correct membership status and benefits attributable to that payment, subject to applicable law and any Specific Promotion Terms.

A charge enquiry or payment dispute does not by itself establish fraud. Reality Fishing may investigate and correct billing errors and may seek payment of a genuinely owing amount through lawful means.

13. Upgrades, downgrades and overlapping paid periods

A purchase of a different Paid Membership starts a new paid membership period when the new payment is successfully processed. The new period is not automatically postponed merely because another Paid Membership remains unexpired.

Where two paid membership periods overlap, Reality Fishing applies the benefits of the highest active tier. Standard benefits and standard giveaway allocations from overlapping tiers do not stack unless a specific benefit expressly says otherwise.

If you purchase a higher tier while a lower tier remains active, the higher tier applies immediately after successful payment. If you purchase a lower tier while a higher tier remains active, the lower-tier paid period begins immediately, but the higher-tier benefits continue to take priority until the higher tier expires. The lower tier then governs for any remaining unexpired part of its own paid period.

Because a lower-tier period begins when purchased, buying a downgrade before the higher tier expires does not extend the lower-tier period by the amount of time during which the higher tier continued to take priority. This timing should be considered before purchasing a downgrade.

When a Member changes to a different paid tier through the designated membership process, the replaced paid subscription should not continue to renew in parallel unless the Member has expressly chosen and been clearly informed that multiple subscriptions will renew. Reality Fishing may disable future renewal of the replaced plan while preserving its already-paid period.

The price, billing period and effective timing of the new plan will be shown before payment. Any refund or credit is governed by the information shown at the time of purchase and section 21 below.

14. Membership benefits

Benefits may include access to Member Deals, giveaway entries or eligibility, member-only prices, partner offers, content, experiences, loyalty or referral features and other benefits displayed on the Platform.

Some benefits are supplied by independent Commercial Partners. Availability may depend on Partner stock, booking capacity, location, age, licensing, safety or other disclosed restrictions.

Reality Fishing may organise benefits differently across plans. A higher membership tier generally includes access to benefits available to lower tiers where the relevant benefit is structured cumulatively, but the specific benefit conditions control.

15. Partner Deals

Access to Partner Discounts, Exclusive Deals and other Member Deals is governed by the Reality Fishing Member Deals Terms & Conditions and the conditions displayed for the specific Deal.

Unless Reality Fishing is expressly identified as the supplier, the relevant Commercial Partner supplies the goods or services purchased through a Deal and is responsible for the transaction, fulfilment and consumer obligations applying to its supply.

16. Giveaways and promotions

Reality Fishing may conduct or facilitate Promotions for eligible Members. Every Promotion has separate Specific Promotion Terms that state the eligibility rules, entry method, entry cut-off, draw method, prizes, winner process and other applicable conditions.

Membership does not guarantee eligibility for every Promotion. Age, residence, membership status, payment status, timing and other conditions may apply. No entry guarantees a win.

Where a Specific Promotion Term conflicts with a general statement in these Terms about entries or draw administration, the Specific Promotion Term governs the Promotion.

17. Free-tier giveaway launch benefit

As a launch benefit, an eligible person who first joins Reality Fishing as a Free Member may receive one welcome entry into the next eligible Major Giveaway whose entry cut-off remains open, subject to that Promotion’s Specific Promotion Terms. This welcome entry is available once only and is not recreated by deleting and reopening an Account or by later reverting from a Paid Membership to the Free tier.

During the current launch offer, an active Free Member may also receive one standard entry into each Minor Giveaway for which Free Members are eligible, subject to the Specific Promotion Terms for that giveaway.

The ongoing Free-tier Minor Giveaway entry is a launch promotional benefit with no fixed end date as at 1 October 2026. It is not represented as a permanent lifetime entitlement. Reality Fishing may change or end that benefit for future Promotions on reasonable notice, but will not retrospectively remove entries already validly allocated except as permitted by the applicable Promotion terms, law or regulatory approval.

If a Free Member is not eligible for a particular Promotion, no membership term overrides that Promotion’s eligibility requirements.

18. Referrals

Reality Fishing may operate referral programs that provide membership benefits or additional giveaway entries when a genuine new person joins or completes a qualifying paid membership purchase using a valid referral code or link.

The qualifying action, attribution method, number and timing of any referral entries, and treatment of refunds, reversals or fraud are governed by the referral information shown on the Platform and, where the benefit is a giveaway entry, the Specific Promotion Terms.

You must not self-refer, create fictitious or duplicate Accounts, manipulate attribution, use another person’s information without authority, or use misleading or unlawful methods to generate referrals. Reality Fishing may investigate and remove invalid referral benefits in accordance with the relevant terms.

19. Giveaway entries and membership status

Giveaway entry allocations are determined under the Specific Promotion Terms. A membership tier, renewal, expiry, upgrade, downgrade, refund or payment reversal affects entries only as provided by the terms governing the relevant Promotion.

Standard entry allocations from overlapping Paid Memberships are not cumulative unless the Specific Promotion Terms expressly provide otherwise. Valid referral entries are treated separately where the Promotion terms say they are additional.

If an entry allocation shown in your Account appears incorrect, contact Reality Fishing promptly so the records can be reviewed before the relevant draw where practicable.

20. Account deletion and withdrawal from promotions

Account deletion is a separate action from turning off Auto-Renewal. You may delete your Account through the membership Account page.

By voluntarily confirming Account deletion, you instruct Reality Fishing to close your Account and withdraw you from Reality Fishing Promotions that have not yet been drawn. All entries associated with your Account for undrawn Promotions are removed from the active draw pool and cannot be reinstated merely by creating another Account.

This rule applies only to the extent permitted by the Specific Promotion Terms, applicable law and any regulatory approval applying to the Promotion. If a Promotion requires a different treatment, the Specific Promotion Terms control.

Deleting your Account does not undo a prize already validly won, remove an existing legal obligation, create an automatic refund of a Paid Membership, or require Reality Fishing to erase records that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, regulatory or promotion-audit purposes.

Before deletion is completed, Reality Fishing should display a clear warning that deletion will end Account access and remove undrawn giveaway entries. The deletion process may require you to expressly confirm that consequence.

21. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable Plan Summary, Reality Fishing does not provide an automatic change-of-mind refund merely because you decide not to continue using a Paid Membership after the paid period has begun.

Reality Fishing may provide a discretionary refund or credit where it considers this appropriate. A discretionary refund does not limit any statutory right.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law requires a refund, cancellation, re-supply, compensation or another remedy, that right applies despite any general no-change-of-mind position.

Deleting an Account or turning off Auto-Renewal does not by itself create a right to a refund for the unused part of a validly supplied prepaid period, subject always to non-excludable rights.

22. Suspension and restriction

Reality Fishing may temporarily restrict an Account, membership benefit, Deal access or Promotion participation where reasonably necessary to investigate credible fraud, security concerns, duplicate Accounts, payment misuse, material breach of these Terms, safety concerns or legal requirements.

Any restriction should be proportionate to the issue. Where reasonably practicable and lawful, Reality Fishing will explain the concern and provide an opportunity to respond or correct the issue.

A complaint, refund request, charge enquiry, privacy request or lawful criticism is not by itself misconduct.

23. Member conduct and misuse

You must use the Platform and membership honestly and lawfully. You must not:

  • tamper with, scrape, overload or interfere with the Platform, payment, Deal or giveaway systems;
  • use bots or automated methods to harvest restricted codes or create Accounts;
  • sell, publish or deliberately share restricted Codes with ineligible people where sharing is prohibited;
  • manipulate referrals, giveaway entries, membership status, trip records or eligibility information;
  • attempt duplicate redemption where a benefit is limited to one use;
  • harass or threaten Reality Fishing personnel, Commercial Partners or other users; or
  • use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.

Reality Fishing may correct proven duplicate, technically erroneous or fraudulent allocations and take reasonable protective action, subject to applicable law and any Specific Promotion Terms.

24. Communications and marketing

Reality Fishing may send service communications reasonably necessary to operate your Account, membership, payments, security, Deals, Promotions and support requests. These are different from optional marketing communications.

Marketing email or SMS communications are sent only where permitted by applicable law. You can use the unsubscribe method in a marketing message or available Account preferences to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service or transactional communications.

25. Privacy and personal information

Reality Fishing handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and any applicable Privacy Collection Notice. Those documents explain the information collected for accounts, payments, referrals, Deals, tracking, Promotions, fraud prevention and support, together with access, correction, deletion and complaint processes.

Where a Commercial Partner independently collects information from you during a purchase, booking or redemption, that Partner is responsible for its own privacy practices. Reality Fishing does not give Partners unrestricted access to the membership database merely because they provide a benefit.

26. Platform availability and technical issues

Reality Fishing aims to keep the Platform available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, internet outages, software faults, third-party outages, security incidents or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily affect access.

If a technical error materially affects a membership benefit, payment, Deal or Promotion record, Reality Fishing may investigate and correct the record consistently with the applicable terms and law. A technical error does not create an entitlement that would not otherwise exist, but genuine member rights will not be removed merely because a system requires correction.

27. Third-party businesses and services

Reality Fishing works with independent Commercial Partners and service providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those businesses are not agents, employees or legal partners of Reality Fishing and Reality Fishing does not control their independent operations.

A third party may have its own lawful terms for a purchase, booking, delivery, safety requirement or service. Those terms apply to the third-party transaction but cannot remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or contradict a specific Reality Fishing Deal representation on which you reasonably relied without an appropriate remedy.

28. Intellectual property

Reality Fishing and its licensors own or control the intellectual property in the Reality Fishing Platform, branding, software, written content, graphics and other materials, except material owned by Commercial Partners or other third parties.

Your membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to access the Platform and membership materials for their intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership or permit you to copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, commercially exploit or create derivative services from protected material except as allowed by law or with written permission.

29. User content and feedback

If you voluntarily submit feedback, reviews, photographs, videos, testimonials or other content, you must have the right to provide it and must not knowingly submit unlawful or infringing material.

Unless a separate permission or promotion term says otherwise, submitting ordinary support feedback does not give Reality Fishing an unrestricted right to use your identity or content in advertising. Any promotional use of identifiable user content will be handled consistently with the Privacy Policy, the applicable submission terms and law.

30. Responsibility and liability

Reality Fishing is responsible for its own Platform services, representations, membership administration and obligations to the extent required by law. Commercial Partners remain responsible for their own goods, services, transactions and conduct to the extent required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reality Fishing is not responsible for loss caused solely by an independent third party, a Member’s misuse of the Platform, unauthorised Account sharing, or events genuinely outside Reality Fishing’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These Terms do not impose an unlimited indemnity on Members.

31. Events outside reasonable control

Reality Fishing is not responsible for delay or temporary failure caused by circumstances genuinely outside its reasonable control, such as significant telecommunications outages, widespread technology failure, natural disaster, government action or comparable events, to the extent permitted by law.

Reality Fishing will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact. This section does not remove non-excludable consumer rights or authorise Reality Fishing to retain payment for a service it is legally required to refund.

32. Complaints and disputes

For membership, billing, Account, Deal or Promotion administration issues, contact Reality Fishing using the details in section 37. Please provide enough information to identify the Account and issue, but do not send passwords or complete payment-card details by ordinary email.

Reality Fishing will review complaints fairly and within a reasonable period. You are not required to give up any right to contact a consumer regulator, privacy regulator, court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction.

33. Changes to plans and benefits

Reality Fishing may develop, replace or discontinue membership features and may change benefits offered in future membership periods. Material adverse changes will not be applied retrospectively to a prepaid period without considering applicable consumer rights and an appropriate remedy where required.

Benefits supplied through Partners may change because of genuine stock, capacity, safety, legal, technical or Partner circumstances. Existing valid entitlements will be dealt with under the Member Deals Terms, Specific Promotion Terms and applicable law.

A promotional benefit described as limited-time, launch, trial or introductory may end for future eligibility even if no fixed end date was originally stated, provided the change is communicated reasonably and does not retrospectively remove an entitlement already validly earned contrary to applicable terms or law.

34. Changes to these Terms

Reality Fishing may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform, membership model, law, security requirements or business operations. The current version will be published on the Platform with its effective date.

A material change that adversely affects an existing prepaid membership will not be used to remove a right or paid benefit in a manner prohibited by law. Where consent or advance notice is required, Reality Fishing will provide it.

35. Ending membership by Reality Fishing

Reality Fishing may close or terminate an Account where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breach of these Terms, proven fraud, unlawful activity, serious safety risk, misuse of the Platform, or where Reality Fishing is legally required to do so.

Where a matter can reasonably be resolved by suspension, correction or a narrower restriction, Reality Fishing may use that approach instead. Any effect on prepaid value, Deals or Promotion entries will be handled consistently with applicable law and the relevant specific terms.

36. General legal provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws in force in Queensland, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws, subject to any mandatory law that applies because of where you live or where a particular transaction or Promotion occurs.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid. If it cannot be read down, it may be severed without affecting the remaining provisions.

A failure or delay by Reality Fishing to enforce a provision does not waive that provision. A waiver is effective only to the extent expressly given.

These Terms, together with the Plan Summary and documents expressly incorporated for a particular benefit, form the membership agreement concerning the matters they cover.
